About SHSRC

The State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC) has been conceived primarily as an institution that is responsive for providing technical assistance to Public Health Department & National Health Mission, Maharashtra. SHSRC was established in July 2008, as per the approved norms under the Program Implementation Plan of NRHM for the year 2008-09.

Background

Established in July 2008, SHSRC serves as a center to provide technical support to the Public Health Department for capacity building and improved service delivery through research and gap findings. The organization plays a crucial role in strengthening Maharashtra's health system.

Governance

As per Government Resolution dated 21st March 2024, SHSRC was approved to register under the Society Registration Act 1860. The Registration Certificate was issued on 10th December 2024 (Registration No. Pune/0001639/2024).
